The Lost Lullaby

I remember being cared
when I was feeling scared
In my rocking bed,
 with my little ted.
Her voice echoed my ears,
dried my eyes of tears.
In all these passing years,
 she kept away my fears.
Her lovely, blue eyes
were priceless.
Her glowing lock of blonde
which I was very fond of.
Days passed and I grew
Her love and care, I still knew.
She was no more
in this human world .
Having taken flight
like a morning bird.

Poor Little Riches Of Life

It doesn't matter how I live now,
what I lost, or what I gained.
For I have nothing to lose,
Still you may say I'm rich.
Rich in things, that one may not care,
Apart from fame, wealth and glory,
I have peace from despair.
So, looking back in time,
I see priceless moments.
And that is all, I have
That is all that I can take,
Back to worlds where
beginnings and ends meet.

The Raindrop

I am like the people of earth
Life full of twists, unstable from birth
Deep down the trenches, it's dark and gloomy.
Many are forgotten, as the waves go through me.
Some rise up, into the sky.
Some stay back, unable to fly.
And some sink, deep down,
Oblivious, and never found.
One day, quite unannounced, I rose up.
Anxious and afraid, with the wind so gruff.
Up there in the sky, things are great.
You'll never have to regret your mistakes.
Every path will lead you to what you believe.
You'll never have to take pain, or grieve.
My conscience doesn't stop here
Heavens' never been my world.
As times go by, I fall into the arms
of Mother Nature's thirsty farms.
Men praise me, gracefully,
for I, as tiny as I can be,
have given more to the life
that has let me free.

The Abandoned Path

I saw a road, taken by none,
Curious to discover, I thought it was fun.
The journey, was very long,
But I felt like, that's where I belong.
At last, I saw the world for me,
Built with beauty, where I'd like to be.
The moon comes up, and the sun goes down,
Rivers flowing, in their silver gown.
Returning birds, the evening sky,
Tempting me, to go and fly.
This is a place, I have never seen,
The heaven of heavens, I've never been.
